Review of 'EON'
EON by Greg Bear
A classic of Science Fiction which takes the themes originally explored by Arthur C. Clarke in Rendezvous with Rama and goes one further. This novel has everything: a great plot and lots of action. Who are the villans? Hard to tell most times, though being human I obviously cheered for us…A bit dated with the references to the communist state that was the Soviet Union many of the political issues and dynamics are as true now as they were when the book was written. Lots of things to keep your interest, the book passes quickly and freely towards a somewhat lack-lustre finish.
