Review of 'Thanh Binh'

Fantastic small restaurant just off of Magdalene and down the road from the bigger chain restaurants on Bridge Street but definitely worth finding. Don't be put off by the many purses for sale in the window (you might be forgiven for thinking that it was a clothing shop). The menu is quite diverse but refreshingly not too big with quite elaborate dishes many including the rice/noodles in the price. The service was quiet but quite efficient. I had a starter of soft shell crab which was perfectly done and my main of a sweet and sour seafood soup was very tasty and fresh tasting. My companion very much enjoyed her duck curry of which there was not a trace by the end of the evening. Not the cheapest meal in Cambridge but definitely worth it.
