Review of 'Mister Pumpernink'

A local little pizza joint that does not put too much stock in decor. The pizza is not bad, a bit oily but very edible. We had a large “Mighty Meaty” (cheese, tomato, onion, ham, beef, and pepperoni) on a deep-dish crust which, at £11.95, was quite a bargain. We ate in which seems to be not what the majority of customers do - Ordering a full pizza as well got a few stares as most customers seem to order by the slice. Ordering at the till we found a seat in the corner inside but there are seats outside on the pavement though, of course, this is also the smoking section. After our pizza we had some custard tarts which we spotted on the counter but were disappointed as they were a bit soggy.

The furnishings are cheap but the food is alright. Delivery available.

Rating: “Average, but who wants to be average?”
