 While visiting Glasgow we had some of the best Shawarma wraps we have ever had in our life and we were told the best of the best was “Shawarma King” on, as might be guessed, King Street on the west side of the city centre a stones throw from the river.  Shawarma is a middle eastern dish of meat that originated in Türkiye and is made by slowly cooking marinated meat on a vertical rotisserie then adding shavings to a wrap then adding various vegetables and sauces.…</description>

 Travelling around Scotland with my mother I was determined to visit Aberdeen as I had never actually visited the city.  I came close once but gave up after having been stuck in construction traffic for an hour or so, turning around with never having set foot in the city.  Knowing I was going to be in Aberdeen I sought advice from a friend who was born there and regularly returns as to where to go for a nice meal.
