I have decided that it is about time for a break so when I was told about the Jazz Festival in St. Louis (on the northmost part of the coast of Senegal) I (and a number of other volunteers) seized the chance to have a bit of a break. I had breakfast this morning at the hotel, if “breakfast” is the right term, basic to say the least, a croissant, some bread, a glass of orange squash and that is about it.
