The palace itself was destroyed by fire in 1936 but the park still contains a lot of Victorian history. Waiting times can be quite significant during rush periods (weekends). Trip time is 1/2 hour. This is the highest Ferris wheel in the world (despite what they might say in Paris). The large area contains several former reservoirs that are now home to a wide range of wildlife.
