Review of 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling
2nd book in the 'Harry Potter' series
This is the second in the Harry Potter series and finds Harry returning to Hogwarts for year two of his magical training. This time there is a mysterious attacker who is turning students (and animals) into stone. Will Harry be able to save the day once again? I will not tell (!). This story follows the same pattern as the first book as we learn more about Harry as he studies his way through a year at Hogwarts. Perhaps a bit more involved than the first book with detail (which was not entirely there in the first book which was focused on developing the setting) the plot is complicated enough to keep more mature readers thinking. Again, very well written and a lot of fun.
Rating: “Really good but I have some issues”
Genre: Fantasy
