Never the Same Again: A History of VSO by Dick Bird

As the author states from the very beginning of this book – this is not meant to be an un-biased history of VSO though Bird does tend to go on with the facts to a large extent though interspersed are various anecdotes from his own, and other volunteers, lives in VSO. I found the book a bit disjointed and quite dry in many places but interesting nonetheless (not least because of my being a VSO volunteer).
