Review of 'Liverpool Christmas Market'

The small (free) Liverpool Christmas Market is in St. George's Place, surrounding St. George's Hall, opposite the road from Liverpool Lime Street train station.

There are a number of food (west) and drink (east) stalls along with several rides (north and east) and stalls selling various gifts (east). Prices are what you might expect, that is, a bit higher than normal shops, bars or restaurants.

What it lacks in size it makes up for in variety with a good range of options. It can be incredibly busy with narrow aisles and huge numbers of people so it is advised to arrive early. The bars are, of course, the busiest areas particularly as the night moves on…

The market is open every day from 9:00 am and closes at 9:00 pm Monday to Wednesday and 10:00 pm Thursday to Sunday.

A large 19th century neoclassical building opposite Liverpool Lime Street train station that hosts law courts and a number of events throughout the year including the Christmas market.
