Review of 'Fitzbillies'

Perhaps more well known for it's bakery next door (selling the world-famous “Fitzbillies Chelsea Bun”), Fitzbillies also has a delightful small restaurant next door. A modern but sparsely decorated interior has quite a number of modern tables and chairs. The service is very good with a very good menu (not too many selections). I tried the venison which was quite tasty with a lovely sauce along with one of their trademarks: Chelsea Bun ice-cream. Perhaps more of a gimmick than anything else this was terribly sweat (a bit to much for me) with hunks of bun throughout. A bit expensive but what you would expect to pay in a restaurant of this quality. Service was prompt and polite. Definitely worth another visit…
